In March the difficult decision was made to cancel the 2020 session of the Louisiana Boys State program in light of the ongoing pandemic.

Since that time, the program staff and counselors of Louisiana Boys State have been looking to the future and planning for 2021. They have spent the past few months evaluating and assessing every element of the Boys State program and curriculum in order to make sure the program is advancing the twin aims of developing leadership skills and promoting active civic engagement in its participants.

LYLG is committed to helping make sure these goal are realized. Join us in ensuring that when the 2021 session opens on Sunday, June 20, it will be the best planned, most effective, and most impactful program since Boys State came to Louisiana in 1940.
